Hey, You Asked...!
Hiroshi Yoshida was a 20th c. Japanese painter and woodblock maker. Today, we're doing his art because-- it's gorgeous, that's why. Bamboo Wood, 1939. (Full outdoor view of a scene from a Japanese woodblock print. A dense grove of tall bamboo stalks fills the foreground and middle ground, varying in shades of teal-green. The light is a golden yellow, suggesting dawn or dusk. Light teal hills and a body of water are visible in the background.
